INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Allen Edmonds is proud to provide an enhanced international shopping experience and deliver our great quality product around the world. With our global partner Borderfree, a trusted third-party service, you can send your purchases around the globe with ease and confidence.

 

Shop our site in your selected local currency and see your complete order total, including shipping fees, customs, tariffs and taxes when you checkout. When you submit your order, the total is guaranteed at the current exchange rate.

 

We reserve the right to cancel/refuse orders that are shipping to an international forwarding company.

 

SHIPPING

 

International Shipping Costs
International shipping is calculated based on a number of factors, including the desired shipping speed, the number of items you are purchasing, the weight of the items, and the destination country. International shipping will be calculated and guaranteed during the checkout based on the items you are purchasing and your shipping destination.

 

Duties & Taxes
Duties (or Customs tariffs) are set by the destination country Customs authorities and determined based on a combination of the country of origin (manufacturing) of the goods being purchased and the classification of that merchandise in accordance with a harmonized system adopted and used by the countries that Borderfree supports. International taxes (such as Value Added Tax, or VAT) are set by the destination country. You will be able to view the total amount of applicable duty and tax/VAT for your order within the Borderfree international checkout.

 

At checkout, you may be presented with options to either prepay duties and taxes or to pay duties and taxes on delivery. If you choose to prepay duties and taxes, the order total presented at checkout is the exact amount you'll be billed by Borderfree, and there will be no additional costs due upon delivery. If you choose to pay duties and taxes on delivery, you will be required to pay these fees to the shipping carrier when you receive the order.

 

If you prepaid duties and taxes on your order but have received a bill for additional charges, please email us and upload a copy of your order receipt. We will investigate the issue and respond to you.

 

To our Canadian customers, some styles may have a component imported from outside the US, so although crafted and assembled in Port Washington, Wisconsin, this imported component makes the item ineligible for USMCA/NAFTA and duties are owed when imported into Canada.

 

Payment
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal are available for international customers. Allen Edmonds Gift Cards are not a payment option for international shipping.

 

"BF*ALLEN EDMONDS" will be displayed as the merchant of record on customer's credit card statements for orders shipped internationally. Your credit card will be billed by Borderfree at the time your parcel(s) leave the U.S.

 

Prior to shipping your order, Borderfree may place an authorization hold on your account to secure your funds for purchase. Borderfree does not charge your credit card until we have shipped your order from our international distribution center. If the authorization hold is not automatically removed within five business days of your shipment, please contact your bank and ask them to release the authorization hold.

 

Shipment Timeframes
You will be quoted a specific delivery promise at the time of checkout that is based on your selected destination country and the shipping methods available for the items in your shopping cart. Most in-stock items ship from our fulfilment center to Borderfree within 2 business days. ("Business days" are Monday-Friday, excluding holidays).

 

Backordered items will ship from our fulfilment center to Borderfree as they become available. Be sure to review the availability messages on the product detail pages and cart before placing your order.

 

Although we do our best to deliver your items during the estimated timeframe, delivery dates are not guaranteed.

 

RETURNS

 

Returns & Exchanges
We are happy to return items 60 days from when you receive your item(s) if they are unworn, undamaged and in re-sellable condition. We reserve the right to refuse items that don’t meet these standards and items returned worn or in poor condition will be sent back to the customer with notification. To complete a return, call us at 1-877-817-7615 to request a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#). Please include:

 

  • Name
  • Address
  • Email Address
  • Order Number
  • Item number(s) to return
  • Reason for your return

We will provide you with an email that contains information on where returns should be shipped, the amount you will be refunded, a shipping label and the return package instructions.

 

Our partner Borderfree will provide you with a refund of the original eligible merchandise price and any duties, taxes and/or VAT originally paid on the returning item, in the same currency and using the same exchange rate as your original order. Shipping and handling fees will not be refunded. You will pay for shipping the returned item(s) to an international hub. Additional shipping and handling fees will apply to ship the return back to the U.S.; these charges will be deducted from the return amount.

 

Returns will not be accepted without an RMA #. RMA Numbers will expire 14 calendar days after you receive your return Merchandise Authorization email. The item will not be accepted if it is returned after that time. Your RMA confirmation will include the address where you should ship your return.
